SEE THE STORY BEHIND THIS PANTING AND COLLECTION (Theme parks & landmarks collection)
The third painting in the Theme Parks & Landmarks Collection takes the futuristic ‘visitors’ to a new park where they explore the grand scale of EPCOT – a park that stands for progression and futurism but has now been overtaken by nature and abandoned in this new future. Captured at the entrance of the park showing the dilapidated front gates and broken Monorail station tracks above the visitors approach. On their backpacks are emblems taken from the park’s opening day set of logos which represent lands inside as if they were somehow linked to this place or returning. At the bottom of the painting a single hand reaches out as if reaching back in time.
